How long does it take to see results?Though neocollagenesis (the production of new collagen) can take several weeks, it is not abnormal to notice an improvement in the quality and appearance of your skin within the first 24 hours. After 2-3 treatments a thicker more robust, collagen filled cellular matrix will produce more consistent and noticeable improvement. And 6 or more treatments may be recommended for scarring, laxity and wrinkles.
-
What is Microchanneling?Microchanneling temporarily creates thousands and thousands of micro-channels into the skin to be repaired by new healthy collagen. It also allows topical solutions to absorb 200%-300% more effectively into the living skin below. During treatment, serums applied (containing naturally-derived growth factors, peptides and cytokines) restore and increase biological communication within the skin during the wound-healing cascade that an aging immune system no longer provides. This is why we recover and heal slower as we get older. A perfect balance of gentle stimulation for your skin to youthfully heal and repair itself, complimented by the infusion of nutritious and vital factors responsible for helping you produce... your best skin!

Please speak to you doctor for a prescription. Hydrofacial is not recommended for severe acne. If the skin is broken open anywhere the Hydrofacial treatment will come in contact with it is recommended to reschedule the treatment until skin is fully healed.

Post-treatment guidelinesYour skin may experience temporary irritation, tightness, or redness. These are all normal reactions that typically resolve within 72 hours depending on skin sensitivity. You may experience tingling and stinging during the treatment area. These sensations generally subside within three hours of treatment. Client experiences may vary. Some people may experience a delayed onset of the previously mentioned symptoms. Contact us immediately if any unusual side effects occur or if symptoms worsen over time. You will likely see results immediately after treatment and your skin will feel smooth and hydrated for one to four weeks. For improved, longer lasting results, consider take-home products and monthly Hydrofacial treatments. The treatment area is more susceptible to sunburn, sun damage and hyperpigmentation. Avoid direct sun exposure and use a minimum of SPF 30 sunscreen. Aggressive exfoliation, waxing and products containing acids should be avoided in the treatment area for a minimum of two weeks pre- and post-treatment. Avoid the use of retinol type products pre and post-treatment.
-
How long does it take to see results, and how long do they last?Clients typically see immediate results after just one treatment session. The skin appears brighter, smoother, and more hydrated immediately after the treatment, and many clients report a noticeable improvement in the overall tone and texture of their skin. For optimal results, it is recommended to receive regular HydroFacial treatments, typically once a month. With regular treatments, patients can expect to see continued improvement in the health and appearance of their skin, including reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improved skin tone and texture, and a more youthful and radiant complexion.

-
Pre-treatment guidelinesSchedule your appointment at least 2 weeks prior to a special event if you intend on receiving a treatment at your appointment. Please see specific treatment pages for the treatment you desire and more specific pre- and post-treatment tips. Arriving with a bare face is helpful for us to properly assess your skin. If you are unable to come without makeup, don't worry will will cleanse your skin.
-
Post-treatment guidelinesFollowing your prescribed Tashikani Skincare routine is critical for achieving improvement. We recommend using your skin care routine like you would any prescription medication (i.e. use products as instructed and use at frequency prescribed) by your provider. Due to the skin cell turnover rate, we recommended waiting a full 8-12 weeks before follow-up to determine if your skin care routine and treatment plan need any adjustments. Adjustments to the routine may be needed. This is normal! Schedule an appointment to discuss with your provider. Skin concerns such as acne typically recur, and maintenance therapy is an important component of skin health management. Please continue to make regular appointments with your provider for maintenance.
